Tales from Wonderland, volume 2

This is basically an 'origins of' book. The first story is the origin of the cheshire cat. As usual, lots of people die in gruesome ways.

The second story concerns a new Queen of Hearts for Wonderland. It appears Wonderland is a little like Philip Jose Farmer's River of Souls series, for when beings die they regenerate, but the new Red Queen has a way to stop that; cut off their heads and keep them separate from their bodies.

The next story is the origin of Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee and their horrible father. Again, more deaths.

In the next story we find out one of the version of the Mad Hatter was none other than Jack the Ripper.

The final story goes into more about the sacrificial arrangement to Wonderland, how it came to be and who benefited by it. This story is followed by a cover gallery section, a beastiary of sorts, and Escape from Wonderland, bonus issue #0.

Another violent, but good book in the series.
