Alice in Wonderland Christmas

This is an ebook based on Alice in Wonderland. I don't really care at all for the story. Alice is grown up and somehow ends up her young self when she meets the White Rabbit. They end up "at the top of the world" where it's cold and snowy.

There's a section about talking plants that need fertilizer which leads Alice to a fertilizer mine (yes, a mine filled with fertilizer.) Anyhow, King Tut makes an appearance as does an escalator. Alice meets Santa Claus and ends up helping out in his workshop.

(By this time I was having a difficult time continuing to read the book. I continued and things got worse.)

Then, for some strange, incomprehensible, totally out-of-character reason Alice meets Death. yep, Death. She also meets the Queen of Hearts and finds a wardrobe that is like a TARDIS; bigger on the inside than the outside and capable of going places.

Death attacks her while she's on Santa's sleigh. Later she meets herself on the road (similar to the Australian concept of walkabout.) There's even a Forest of Doubts and Fears.

This just seems to be such a negative story filled with things that the original story would not have even considered. Not a good read at all.
