May 2, 1995, Movie #2: Together Again

Mary Beth has settled into her job, but now there may be layoffs and she's junior. Since Harvey can't work, and won't stick to his diet, she needs to hang on. Chris and husband James are trying a commuter marriage. When a homeless man gets murdered, the case looks open-and-shut against another homeless man. But Harvey used to work with the suspect (yes, he seems to know every person in the New York construction industry) and Mary Beth talks Christine into taking the case. Mary Beth takes up smoking again (she smoked in year 0, and gave it up at Harvey's request in episode #6). When Chris finds her husband is unfaithful, we see her taking a drink.
