Coca Cola Trading Cards set 1

The set of cards I got came with this set of 8 Coca-Cola caps.

These cards are different from the later two sets. Each card in this set has the date on the front. On the back it has a historical fact related to Coca-Cola, and then has a trivia question.

Here are eight more cards in the set. The 1900 shows typical Cola-Cola Girl artwork. The 1909 card shows a strange-looking truck. The name Coca-Cola is all over the truck, making it a moving ad for the company.

The Coca-Cola trays (1962) are a major collector's item. The rest of the cards show typical artwork.

In this group is the typical check-list, and one of the familiar Coca Cola polar bears.

The 1987 card shows an ad that was geared towards the Hispanic population. Three of the others deal with sports.

The 1914 card shows one of the early Coca Cola bottles. A number of the cards show the beautiful artwork of women that was used often in ads. Trays are shown on two of the cards, and a calendar on one of them.

More artwork of beautiful women, and a 1915 Coca Cola bottle, along with other things.

More examples of the artwork, and another metal tray. The serving tray is Spanish.

A 1943 card geared towards buying war bonds, along with other artwork.

It's obvious one of the cards was used overseas, but the back of the card doesn't say where.

The 1959 card shows a very popular activity at that time, eating at one of the restaurants that had drive-in eating where girls, sometimes on roller skates, came to take orders.

More cards featuring sports, and a 1985 card showing a black couple. In three sets of cards I have looked at so far, this is the only card featuring people who are black.

More artwork and more people involved in the early history of Coca Cola.

This set was somewhat disappointing in that there wasn't very much of the artwork shown, a lot of the cards looking more modern and not centering on people.
