The Dark Crystal:Age of Resistance, episode 9
One of the Gelfling says Deet has changed. Meanwhile they get the dual glave. Meanwhile Brea and Seladon are about to be drained. Then Aughra shows up claiming to be there to pay her respects to the Hunter.
(Why are the Skeksis so obsessed with bringing back the Hunter to life? )
Aughra says only her essence can save the Hunter's life. Tavra is no longer under the Ascendency control. Some Skeksis try to ambush the fleeing Gelfling but are attacked by the spiders.The General Skeksis has been injured.
The Chamberlain saves the General's life by attacking Tavra and leaving her for dead. Aughra goes BOOM!. The Hunter dies. Meanwhile the Emperor is obsessed with proving that the Skeksis cannot die. The Gelfling find out that they only have half of the dual glave. Meanwhile Tavra dies.
The Skeksis have a plan to build unstoppable warriors. The idea is to take dead Arathim, graft them together and then reanimate them into the Garthim. The Emperor decides that the dead Hunter will be put into armor and sit at their side.
The dual glave gets put back together. Fires suddenly turn blue in color. It turns out this sets up a system where Rian can talk to all other Gelfling. Unfortunately the Crystal of Truth also transmits the message so the Skeksis are able to find out what is happening.
The Emperor is also able to use the message-spreader. The Emperor tells the other Skeksis that they will attack Stone-in-the-Wood the next day.
