The Dark Crystal Comics

April, 1983. This issue goes from the beginning of the story through the mystics making their way towards the castle while Jen and Kira are riding landstriders, also approaching the castle. The story makes reference to the funeral of the former Skeksis Emperor, but doesn't actually show the funeral.

The artwork is well done, especially with having to work with what I would assume to be rather difficult-to-draw Skeksis and Mystics.

May, 1983. Continuing the story from issue 1, this cover from there up through the end of the story. Again the artwork is rather good except for Kira, where it varies from being mostly pretty good to some panels where it doesn't like like Kira much at all.
