Dark Shadows episode 14

It starts off with David reading a Mechanic magazine. He has something in his hand, a part to something. He sneaks into Vickie's room and starts going through her dresser.

Did I ever not that I really, really, really don't like David? He's a total brat. Absolute total brat. The kid needed a nice long rest in juvenile detention. She goes to his room and he refuses to open his door until she says that she'll get Roger to open it.

She tries to reason with him. (Might as well try to reason with a rock.)

David lies, saying he wanted to give Vickie a present. He does give her a sea shell but the truth is he was up to something else entirely. Caroline talks to Vickie and refers to David as 'that little monster.' then they hear thunder.

Burke comes into the Blue Whale and talks to Joe Haskell. Vickie warns Caroline about Burke Devlin and liking him so much. Joe arrives to take Caroline on their date. Vickie goes upstairs and there's a creaking sound and a door closes on its own. David tells her that the door is always locked and is never opened yet it was opened when Vickie came upstairs.

David tells her that the door leads to the closed-off portion of the house. David tells her the house is full of ghosts and he's seen them. David says something nasty about Roger and then asks Vickie about her parents. She tells him she never saw either of them. David says his mother is very pretty.

David tells her that Burke hates Roger. David says he could be real good friends with Burke. Then the scene shifts back to the Blue Whale with Burke waiting for Roger to show up. Caroline and Sam arrive. David is 9. Vickie tells him Roger is going into town later and will be taking his car. She offers to buy him a present but he turns her down.
