Dreams of the Dark

Angelique is up to her old tricks again. She wants to go after Barnabas so why not use a vampire to go after a vampire? A guy named Rathburn was a Confederate soldier when he was changed into a vampire. He's lead to Collinsport (via Angelique's maneuvering) where it just happens that Barnabas can be found.

So can Victoria. So can possible romance. So can a showdown between the two vampires. So can a mistake on the part of one seeking revenge can be made, however. The whole novel turns out to be a really good story with Victoria playing a major role as well as Rathburn and Barnabas. I was very satisfied with the ending and consider this a must-have book for my collection.
