Sachiko had gone to check out a store, accidentally scaring Yumi in the process. Yumi thought things on their date had gone so badly that Sachiko had left her.
Yumi admits she has no self-confidence.
Shimozu Yoshino is really jealous of the "date" Rei is on with the girl who found her card.
The third date takes a somewhat strange but highly interesting turn.
Sachiko and Yumi's date has gone well. Sachiko wanted to get a pair of jeans just like Yumi's, and then wanted to get a pair of shoes just like hers.
Sachiko talks about past and her efforts to "fit in" with the other students when she was in kindergarden.
Yoshino joins up with Sachiko and Yumi and they go to a café that Yumi has been wanting to try, only to run into two more people they know.
The girl who went on the date with Rei tells Yoshino basically that the only thing Rei could do was think about her (Yoshino) during the entire date.
Later that night Yumi is thinking of calling Sachiko when Sachiko calls her first.
