Jap Phosphorous Bombs

B-24s flying out of Saipan attack Iwo Jima and some other islands, attacking air fields and harbors.

They encounter phosphorous bombs and shells.

According to the narrator, the phosphorous bombs and shells were generally ineffective.

A Japanese phosphorous bomb is taken apart. Another one is used for a test, and the last image is the explosion.
