Quiet Storm

1. suna ni kakareta Document (Document Written on Sand)(4:25): Definitely a jazz-oriented song, well sung with a good musical background.

2. kaze no Oxygen (Oxygen of Wind)(4:08) Nice, light, jazzy feeling to this song.

3. Pink no Toeshoes (Pink Toeshoes)(4:03): Another very light, jazzy song. Very pretty, sort of relaxing-type of song.

4. nashi no katachi o shita Blue (Blue in the Shape of a Pear)(4:37): Definitely a jazzy torch-type song. She sings very softly on this track and it matches well with the musical theme being used.

5. kohaku no namida (Amber Tears)(2:53): Very strongly jazz-oriented. I would consider these to be torch-type singing, although I'm certainly no expert on jazz. A really different, good song.

6. Cinnamon to Brown Sugar (Cinnamon and Brown Sugar)(4:53): It started out sounding a little like a song from Kimagure Orange Road. Her singing style in this song is very similar to her KOR material. It's a good song except for the particular musical accompaniment at times.

7. Be My J-Boy (4:41): One of my favorite songs from this cd. Somewhat jazzy but not overly so, at the same time a lot like her KOR singing.

8. memai (Dizziness)(4:05): Another sort of soft jazz-type song. It's a so-so song, in general, but there are a number of times that she tries to reach a note that's just a little too high for her and it just doesn't sound right.

9. mahiru no Pauline (Pauline at High Noon)(4:13): This is the first song of hers that I really don't like at all. For some reason she's trying to sing in a little-girl type of voice and it just doesn't work for her. She has a full, mature, powerful type of voice and her trying to sound like one of the cute-cute, ultra-young sounding singers just doesn't work. It's basically a song that actually turns its back on her great singing ability.

10. Gossip Glamour-karappo no Garage (4:54): A very good song with her using a rather sexy singing voice.
