Undead and Uneasy

The book, the sixth in the series, starts off with the story of some cursed earrings. Betsy and Sinclair are arguing about their upcoming wedding.

Laura is still around, and a ghost named Cathie. The fiend from the last book now has a name-Garret. Jessica is quite ill. Betsy's parents are dead, and the detective is now Jessica's boyfriend. Marc has disappeared.

BabyJon survived, and, courtesy of her father's will, is now Betsy's responsibility.

Betsy gets jumped by a bunch of werewolves and shot by one. The werewolves seemed to be totally terrified by BabyJon.

The Devil appears to Betsy and says she'll help her if Betsy will pray to her. Betsy tells her to leave.

Things get really ugly when Betsy finds out exactly who is behind all the disappearances, but fortunately discovers she has yet another ability she did not know she had. In fact, two abilities, one relating to killing, and one to healing.

This is yet another great book in the series, very funny at times, very serious at times, and always interesting.
