All-Story Love Tales, February 1939

Page 3 has an ad for man getting jobs in radio. Again, another man's ad in a women's magazine.

1. Front Page Sweetheart: “She'd sell her soul to the devil to keep in the limelight. She'd rather have her name on the front page than go to heaven when she dies.”

2. Indiscreet Lady. This is written by a woman named Ruth Lyons, but it's not the same Ruth Lyons that had a television show. I thank Michael A. Banks at (http://www.michaelabanks.com) for that information.

3. Sixty Horse-power Siren: “Her motor test said 98%. Would that help her steer the Speed King's heart?”

4. Mistake Mrs. “She borrowed a husband, and he came to claim his rights.”

5. One-Way Love Letters: “She was a little angel with dirty hands.”

6. Remember You're Mine: “I'm afraid to go away and leave you. Something tells me we'll be parted. Kiss me and promise me you'll Remember You're Mine.”

7. Girl on His Hands: “Bluebeard shut heaven in his closet and threw away the key.”

There's also poetry, an article on “Your Pen Personality,” an article on numerology entitled “What's in a Name?” and a personal ads sort of section.
