Texas Rangers October 1945

The Frontier Post: editorial material.

The Devil's Legion: “Pledged to rid the Border Country of a bandit scourge, a fighting Lone Wolf Ranger pits himself against the mighty power and ruthless brutality of Jose Muerta, outlaw king!”

The Marshall of Flatview: “Murderous Outlaws Look for Trouble Until They Happen to run into Editor Miles Long-and They Find Plenty!”

The Tennessee Kid: “Trapped by angry cattlemen, mountaineer Jeff Ward puts up a grim battle that leads to a rip-roaring showdown!”

The magazine also contains an ad for buying war bonds, and the back cover is an ad for Baby Ruth candy bars that refers to soldiers fighting. This must have been due to the lead time on making the magazine, since the war finished roughly in the middle of September, and this is the October issue.
