Ranma ½, Part 2 number 8

Ryoga continues to interfere in the ice skating competition by attacking Ranma. He's also after Akane. The fight becomes a major one with Ryoga thinking he's won, but he hasn't. The fight gets worse and Akane tries to get them to stop but they won't.

Finally Akane falls into the water and, basically, a rock has a better chance of floating that Akane does, so Ranma-chan and Ryoga dive to her rescue, with Ryoga changing into a pig. Later, Akane praises the pig and ignores Ranma.

Then the wall caves in and Shampoo appears, ready to kill Ranma-chan.

It's interesting just how many psycho characters there are in the series. Ryoga is definitely nuts, having major problems with violence and hurting people. Kuno is also crazy as is his sister, Kodachi, and their father, the principal of the school.

Genma is plain disgusting. Soun needs to get over the past and start dealing with the fact that he has three beautiful daughters who need his help. Akane also has severe problems with her temper.

Shampoo seems crazy at first, but she starts to make sense later. Cologne is okay, although she's obsessed with getting Ranma and Shampoo together. Nabiki is cold, and dwells on money, but then she has the only income the entire dojo sees.

Nodoka is also basically crazy. Ukyo seems to be the most centered of them all. Ranma himself has an ego the size of a planet, but he's basically decent and surprisingly sane considering everything that has happened to him.
