Jesus Mary Joseph: The Secret Legacy of Jesus and Mary Magdalene

My first problem with this book is astrology. Astrology has no scientific value at all and, as any search on Google will reveal, has been pretty much completely debunked. This author has carried astrology so far she's even 'discovered' the exact birth times for Jesus and Mary. The author claims 'Astrology was both a science and a philosophy as it is today.' It's absolutely not a science by any stretch of definitions.

To me that alone pretty much shoots down any value this book might have.

This also means the traits of Jesus and Mary that she comes up with have little actual value. These include that Jesus had a propensity for self-neglect and depression. He was neglected by his mother in his early years. He was driven to leadership.

Then there's a number of statements made that have no evidence at all to back them up. These include:

Jesus did not die on the cross.

Jesus was not pierced while on the cross.

Mary bribed a guard to take down Jesus from the cross early.

Mary had a daughter named Sarah.

The only interesting part of the book I found was the section about the possibility that Mary Magdalene made her way to France. The author also discusses the Sangreal (the holy grail) as to what it was and what happened to it. She talks about the Knights Templar (always a fascinating topic) and Glastonbury.

On the other hand she claims Jesus wrote The Gospel of Thomas and that Princess Diana was tied to the royal (Sangreal) bloodline.

There's quite a bit about the paintings of Da Vinci and others and how they show things that agree with her views of Jesus and Mary and what happened to them. All I'll say about that section is sometimes we see what we want to see.

So, basically, the book is a great deal of speculation based on the very speculative non-science of astrology.
