Tao Te-Ching: Lao Tzu

Translation by: Yi-Ping Ong
Year: 1991/1997
Introduction? Yes, a rather long one, in fact.
Analysis of passages? No, although there are a few endnotes.
First line: The Tao that can be followed is not the eternal Tao.
Special traits: There's a section on “The World of Lao Tzu and the Tao Te Ching,” and the introduction to the book is one of the longer introductions I have seen in any of the books.
