My Build-A-Bear friends

For some reason I didn't add any Build-a-Bear friends in 2003, but on August 4, 2004 I added Michael Osbrick to my growing family of Build-a-Bear friends. I like Michael's colors, and later added two other bears were colored in a similar manner, but with different colors.

Katrina K. Kat

Katrina was added on December 15 of 2004. She's one of the larger Build-a-Bear friends.

Kira

Kira was added on February 7, 2005. She was named for Kira from the movie The Dark Crystal.

Elanna

Elanna was the second friend added in 2005, on August 25. I have no idea where her name came from; it's just the one that seemed "right" for her.

Kalerra

The very next day, August 26, 2005, I returned to our local Build-a-Bear and added yet another friend. I thought the name Elanna was somewhat unusual, but Kalerra was a name that came out of nowhere but, again, was the one the bear wanted.

Cookie Monster

Cookie Monster was the last friend I added in 2005, adding him on November 4th. He's the only one of my Build-a-Bear friends that has sound.

Charli

Charli was the first of two bears I got on April 30th of 2006. She's a beautiful shade of pink and I think this outfit I got her recently looks really good on her.

Sharla

Sharla was also added on April 30th. She's another rabbit (my favorite animal), although I don't know where her name came from (nor Charli's, either.) Again, the names were the ones the animals wanted.

Jeanette

June 17th, 2006 was a big day for my Build-a-Bear friends, as I took three of them home with me on that day. Jeanette is a beautiful white bear with pink highlights and is dressed in her party dress.

"Bonnie Prince" Charlie

"Bonnie Prince" Charlie was the next one I added on the 17th. (He's not named for the current Prince Charles, by the way, He's named for Charles Edward Stuart, 1720-1788.) He looks good in his Prince Charming outfit. Charlie is a white bear with blue highlights.

Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty was the third friend I added that day. You can't get much cuter than Hello Kitty.

Happy

The next day, June 18th, I returned to Build-a-Bear to get some clothes for my friends and decided to add Happy, who is the mocha counterpart to Sharla.

Isabelle

Isabelle was one of the Build-a-Bear Workshop friends that are available through Target stores. You buy the kit and you assemble your friend yourself. The kit includes the certificate, shown above, and a Membeary booklet, shown below.
