Sunprobe

This is apparently some kind of a manned mission.

The ship lifts off. It's mission is to collect some material from the sun's vicinity.

Brains is working with some kind of robot he's invented. (The voice sounds just like a Dalek.)

The spacecraft approaches the sun. They will launch a probe that will grab samples from a solar flare and return them to the spaceship.

The probe appears to be the top part of the ship.

Something goes wrong and the ship goes off-course, on a collision course with the sun, which just happens to be partially green. Green?

The solar mission control center calls for help from International Rescue. (Of course, this is where the whole thing becomes totally unrealistic; there is no way anything they have could reach the astronauts in time.

Thunderbird 3 is being prepped for launch.

The ship launches.

The ship gets into space and moves away from the earth.

Thunderbird 2 is also going to be used in the rescue effort.

Thunderbird 2 is going to stay on Earth and land on some mountain and try to transmit from there.

Apparently they have a large transmitter which they'll try to use from earth, the transmitter not fitting into Thunderbird 3.

Thunderbird 3 gets close enough to get the rocket motors to work on the sun probe. The sun probe ship is saved, but the retros don't work on Thunderbird 3.

Thunderbird 2 is able to send a signal to Thunderbird 3 to fire its retros and return to Earth.
