Give or Take a Million

The kid wants to see Thunderbird 3 launched.

Thunderbird 3 launches. After it launches we find out the rest of the story will be a flashback to what led up to this young boy being on the island.

The men are discussing ways to raise money for a children's solar therapy unit.

A non-Thunderbird rocket is launched. The effects for the launches are really very good.

The rocket drops some cargo and then continues on its way.

The cargo is filled with toys. (Excuse me, but time for a reality check. Couldn't the toys have been delivered by a safer method? Flying a rocket past a children's hospital is not really the smartest thing to do, at least in my book.)

Christmas food cooked two days too early.

Some bad guys show up at the store where a rocket is going to be launched (from the roof, of all places) filled with toys for the kids at the children's hospital.

The two guys are bank robbers who plan to cut through a wall separating the store from the bank vault next door. The idea is to use ropes and pulleys so a guy can get into the vault without touching the floor. (Problem is, it takes a long time to get it done. Also, he's going to take gold - and what bank these days actually has gold in it - and that's going to be extremely heavy and make it take even longer to get done.)

It's Christmas day and Thunderbird 2 is launching.

As expected, the heist goes wrong. The crooks dress in Santa suits and get into the box with the toys, not knowing it's heading up to the roof to be put onto the rocket.

The rocket launches with the crooks aboard.

The kid who got the gift with the lucky number gets to visit International Rescue for Christmas.

Brains figures out a way to make it snow on the island.
