This control room actually looks a little like the inside of the TARDIS.

An experiment is being conducted in the use of solar energy to heat an entire town.

Lady Penelope gets to her hotel but the storm seems to have followed her.

She's going to attend a party.

Lightning hits the tower.

The tower collapses after being hit a bunch of times by the lightning.

The car spouts hydrofoils.

Lady Penelope has called for help from the International Rescue group.

Thunderbird 1 takes off from beneath a swimming pool.

Thunderbird 2 takes off from a hanger hidden within a mountain.

Brains is lowered to the remains of the reflector.

The roof of the hotel starts to smoke as the reflected sun rays hit it.

Something goes wrong while they are moving the reflector and an avalanche starts, both Brains and the reflector falling down the mountain. Or at least his suit fell since he had removed it.
