Beetlejuice

This is one of the first movies I ever saw Winona Ryder in. It's a fun movie, in my opinion. Note that Winona, who is the youngest in the family and is more open-minded, is, at first, the only one that can actually see the ghosts. Once the adults admit the ghosts exist, though, their first move is to exploit them, not try to befriend or help them, and this, too, is unfortunately normal behavior for many adults.

Winona tries to help the ghosts, the adults just want to use them to make money. Disgusting. Still, they get their own paybacks for their actions and, in the end, everything does seem to work out for everyone.

Winona is really cute in this movie.
