The Girls of Canby Hall: Summer Blues

This is a good example of how these books cover the same kinds of things girls encounter. There's no monsters, no psycho killers, nothing like that; just the things that girls have to deal with. Dana, for example, finds out Bret is cheating on her and they break up. She finds another boy but he's from a different lifestyle than she has and she wonders if they can really get along.

Shelly has two boyfriends. The worst thing that can happen, they meet. It happens and she has to deal with the fallout.

Faith is preparing an exhibit consisting of her photographs. Her boyfriend situation stays the same.

The girls are all taking an extra summer course; poetry for Dana, photography for Faith, and Shelly almost gets herself arrested. Altogether another good book in the series.
