The Big Crush

The main storyline in this volume is about Dana who has developed a very severe crush on the new school counselor, Michael. Pamela is also in this novel and is even nastier than usual. Shelly is having troubles of her own relating to her weight and wanting to be thinner.

Dana is concerned about her sort-of relationship with Randy, her divorced parents, and the fact that her father's new wife is now pregnant. Her feelings for Michael are complicated by the fact that Allison, the housemother, has also become attracted to Michael and he to her.

Then Pamela tries to pull a very nasty attack on Michael's credibility and Shelley faints at a dance due to lack of eating properly. As usual, everything work out well in another good book in the series.
