The Ghost in the Graveyard

This is sort of an unusual book. First, I could tell from the cover immediately what was going on. Two boys who look just alike? In a series that avoided real ghosts? Yep, they had to be twins. Sam's family moves to Sweet Valley yet he seems to know where things are even though he's never supposedly been there before.

Elizabeth and Jessica get drawn into the mystery which includes an old, broken-down mansion and a mysterious gardener. Evidence that something is really going on starts to pile up, especially with the a number of graves belonging to a certain family.

The book takes a totally unexpected turn and ends up being a lot better than I thought it would be.
