This is an incredibly complex and wonderful and truly international ukulele version of a Christmas classic. I am so glad I was asked to be a part of it! Be sure to watch all the way to the end! Fun!

Thursday, January 13, 2011, 11:07am: Finally, a new video! It's about why I haven't posted any videos lately; showing off a new-ish ukulele; comparing two kinds of Makala Dolphin soprano ukuleles; and talking about my Kindle plus e-readers & e-books in general. The scraps of song used for comparison of the two ukuleles are from my original song, "Stutz Bearcat" (copyright © 2010 Joanna M. Phillips), heard in bunnychan22's and my collaboration, "Mischievous Squirrels".

Sunday, January 16, 2011, 3:41pm: Finally, a new music video! Wrong season, I know, what with snow still on the ground. I was playing around with "half-chords"/partial chords, and it suddenly seemed to be this song. Just about everyone has done this song, it seems. These lyrics are approximately as sung by Joan Baez, Newport Folk Festival, early 1960's.

Thursday, February 10, 2011, 7:45pm: Making "mouse meals". It's like ham salad only it's beef, with no pickle relish.   I took all these photos as I went along early this morning with my iPod Touch (4th gen.) camera.  (Click on all photos to see them larger)

Starting off with chopped sirloin, draining off excess fat as you go OSKAR food processor & other items ready Garlic powder (not salt) at hand Beef getting near ready for its temperature to be taken

Process very fine (done in two batches--too much meat to do all at once) Squeeze out excess fat, remove paper towels, back into processor for a little
water to be whirled in, then chill for about 15 minutes
Add mayonnaise until it's enough (you'll know) Mix well!

Put all into a well-chilled Tupperware bowl Ready for the fridge and several meals for a mouse
