The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh comic

The comic is a very good adaptation of the movie. There is a series of Dr. Syn books. I started reading the first one, which covered some of what happened in the movie, and I gave up half-way through. There was almost no similiarity between the Vicar in the movie and the Vicar in the book. The book was very slow-moving and finally just became too boring to continue.
