THE PRISONER The Alternative Arrival 2

"Alternative edit of the opening minutes of debut Prisoner episode with several lines of variant dialogue. Is it just me or does No.6 sound incredibly gay when he says: "First time I've seen a cab like this..." From: salmonofknowledge ". (It's an itneresting alternative. One thing I wondered about is why the Prisoner never tried to escape over the mountains. There was no proof that the Village was on an island; it if wasn't, then the Prisoner stood a chance of getting away by going overland. He was in good health, and could have taken water and provisions with him. Hiding would have been a problem, but I do find it interesting in that he never tried that way and never even discussed trying that route of escape.)
