The Accidental Goddess

Review

This is a crossover fanfic using Ranma ½ and Oh My Goddess! which, itself, is an excellent series. The author does a good job with the story. There's a lot of really good humor in it, and the author manages to keep all the characters in character.

Synopsis

Chapter 1

The chapter starts with Skuld (from Oh My Goddess!) hunting a bug in the system. At the same time, Nabiki and Ranma-chan are using a computer in Nabiki's room. They connected to the all-mighty's main computer system. Nabiki fills out a form thinking she's accessed a gag sight, and puts in Sex as Area of Influence for Ranma. For mode of transportation she puts in water, and for affiliated god or goddess she picks Cupid.

The scene switches to Keiichi, Urd and Belldandy.

Back at the computer, Nabiki accidentally clicks the mouse button for reality reset. Suddenly Ranma-chan is engulfed in a blinding white light, and when that calms down she's floating in the air still surrounded by light. Ranma-chan's hair grows much longer, and her clothes disappear with new ones forming. Gradually Ranma-chan floats closer to the floor, but still remains suspended above it a little.

Belldandy and the others get a phone call from kami-sama, informing them that a mortal has changed into a goddess, class 1, category 1, unlimited. Now they will have to find her.

Back at the dojo, Nabiki wakes up Ranma-chan and gets a series of major kisses from her. Soun and Genma call Dr. Tofu for help.

Chapter 2

Belldandy and Urd go to the Tendo dojo. Urd gets appointed by Kamisama as Ranma-chan's trainer.

Mara, a sort-of evil goddess, and a demon watch the events as more things get explained about Ranma-chan's goddess-hood.

A fight ends up erupting between the demon/Mara group and Ranma-chan and Akane, with Happosai a bystander for a bit, but then glomping onto Ranma-chan.

Shortly afterwards, Mara encounters Kuno and instantly falls for him (No accounting for taste).

Chapter 3

A really hilarious scene occurs when Mara goes to the Kuno estate, probably to seduce Kuno, but ends up setting off booby traps and almost gets eaten by an alligator.

Meanwhile, Urd and Ranma-chan get a message from Kamisama. They have an appointment with God.

Retsujouki is another demon (from the last chapter) and wants to have sex with Ranma-chan.

Then there's a hilarious fight between Ranma-chan and Genma that has Urd rolling on the ground with laughter.

Retsujouki tries to sneak into the dojo but is intercepted by Genma-panda who beats him up and kicks him far away.

Urd and the others create a floor design for Nodoka to use to travel to heaven, but Genma interrupts, and no one knows where Nodoka will end up (or with which pantheon of gods and goddesses.)

Cologne and Belldandy talk at the dojo. Cologne knows Urd.

Chapter 4

(For some reason, Chapter 4 is much, much longer than the other chapters.)

Skuld and Ranma-chan get to the kami astral plane.

Nabiki and Akane have a talk, Nabiki telling Akane that if she really wants Ranma for herself, she needs to tell her/him that she is in love with her/him, and then have sex with her.

Ryoga gets to Ukyo's (as P-chan), gets changed, and the two of them have sort of a discussion.

Urd and Nodoka end up with the Greek pantheon of gods and goddesses for a short while.

Nodoka and Urd finally get to join Ranma-chan and Skuld.

Urd, Ranma-chan and Nodoka go through an armory and Ranma-chan finds one of Ukyo's battle spatulas. Ranma-chan ends up with a katana that belonged to Amaterasu, the Japanese sun goddess.

In Asgard, they find some of Mousse's weapons, and they put a really nice spell on Ukyo's battle spatula to make it a lot better.

Everyone but Nodoka, Ranma-chan, Urd, Skuld and Happosai are at the dojo where Belldandy explains that, because Ranma-chan is a goddess (in training), all mortal obligations (the pre-arranged marriages) are null and void.

Urd and Ranma-chan meet Kamisama, and Ranma-chan is given a chance to renounce being a goddess and return to being a normal mortal. Since she can do more good as a goddess, she decides to remain a goddess. (It's a really moving scene.)

Later, Ranma-chan, Urd and Nodoka get to meet Amaterasu, then they return to the dojo.

Chapter 5

This is another long chapter.

Ranma-chan and the others return, and more chaos ensues. Mara sneaks into the dojo to grab hold of Kuno. Retsuji is waiting to sneak in, three of the girls are glomping Ranma-chan, and Happosai is glomping Kodachi.

Ranma-chan's clothes are ripped off by the girls, and Retsuji grabs her and fondles her, only to be flattened by Akane's hammer. There's a wild chase, with Ranma-chan going after Mara and lots of other people becoming involved.

Ukyo keeps having orgasms while playing with her battle spatula. The others finally get it away from her and find out that was all due to the spell put on it while it was still in Asgard.

Urd tries to slip Akane and Ranma-chan a love potion, but Genma and Nodoka accidentally end up being the ones to drink it.

Urd and Kasumi become very close friends.

Ranma-chan and Akane talk about their relationship. Akane considers herself far below Ranma-chan now that Ranma-chan's a goddess. They're able to work things out, though.
