Miss Ranma

Review

There's a number of major differences between this story and Ranma ½ canon, but they all seem to work. For one thing there is some serious Amazon politics going on, with Mousse and his grandmother wanting bascially to take control of the tribe. Ranma is a girl and has always been so. Soun has a son, Kenji. Ranma-chan can actually fly. Shampoo plays only a very minor role.

The story has a lot of potential for future sections.

Synopsis

Chapter 1

Genma is taking Ranma to Jusennkyo. Ranma has been hypnotized into thinking that she is a boy, but she is really a girl. He knocks her into a spring to give her a boy's body for at least part of the time, but instead she ends in in a place called The Room of Time. She encounters two girls in the room and they explain how the room helps them in their training.

They help Ranma-chan realize that she really is a girl, and she remembers how Genma tricked her into thinking otherwise. The girls say they will help Ranma-chan learn their ways of fighting if she will teach them hers.

A year later the training is over and Ranma-chan comes out of the pool and confronts Genma. The guide explains that the pool Ranma-chan got thrown into makes her more of what she was before she was thrown into the pool. Genma then throws her into a pool to make her change into a boy but it doesn't work, of course.

Ryoga falls into the spring of drowned piglet, is found by Genma and almost ends up as dinner.

Ranma-chan is working out and is being watched by Mousse. Mousse and Ranma-chan fight, Mousse having almost instantly fallen in lust with Ranma-chan.

Chapter 2

Genma is being his usual idiotic self. He and Ranma-chan arrive at the Amazon village. Then there's the canon story of the fight, Ranma-chan winning, and the Kiss of Death from Shampoo. This time, though, Ranma-chan has enough of running and turns to face Shampoo, fighting her again and beating her again.

Mousse and his grandmother plot to get Mousse to marry Ranma-chan, bring her into the tribe, and take over the leadership of the tribe.

Genma laters calls Ranma-chan a 'rebellious bitch.'Ranma-chan ends up entering a fighting contest to get them some money. She beats the first guy but then a bunch of thugs take her on. She beats them.

Later Genma and Ranma-chan eat at a nice restaurant but Shampoo shows up. Meanwhile, Mousse and his grandmother have been watching Ranma-chan fight and are making their plans.

Chapter 3

Ranma-chan easily overcomes Shampoo, but the damage to the restaurant made by her attack forces her to give most of the rest of her money to the owner. Genma has fled, of course.

Two major differences from canon: Ranma-chan can fly, and Mousse changes into a hawk.

Then there's the slightly modified appearing-at-the-Tendos from the series. The scene with Ranma-chan and Akane sparring is also different because this time Ranma-chan actually fights back. The scene in the furo is different in that Akane gets made this time because Ranma-chan has a better body than she does.

Then another major change, as it is revealed that Soun has a son, Kenji.

Chapter 4

Genma pressures Ranma-chan to marry Kenji. Kanji and Ranma-chan have a test battle and Ranma-chan wins, but mainly because Kenji was too busy looking at her breasts. Kenji goes for a photo shoot and Akane and Ranma head toward school.

Akane throws her bookbag at Ranma-chan, but she throws it right back, hitting Akane. They then go to Dr. Tofu's.
