New Beginning as Girl

Rather than have Ranma change into Ranma-chan and stay that way, this story starts the series off with Ranma actually being a girl who changes into a boy when doused with cold water.

The very beginning is the same as the canon story but changes when Soun hugs Ranma (in boy form), he calls Soun a pervert and knocks him out. In the Akane/Ranma dojo fight Ranma keeps trying to tell her the truth that she's a girl but Akane won't listen.

Ryoga, as usual, shows up to fight her. Nabiki makes Ranma go on date with her to pay her back, Akane understands, and for once doesn't hit Ranma.

In the the battle with Kodachi in the gym, a difference is Ranma-chan makes friends with her sort of at the end. Shampoo shows up much the same as in the canon story and everything works out there.

The story seems to be part of a longer one and so far is good.
