Part 55

Sunday, August 14, 2005, 6:29pm: Sorry about not writing much this month. I found out at the end of July that I will need a little surgery re: the part of me that had cancer before. Kinda iffy, but hoping this isn't going to show up any cancer. It's going to be a ductal excision. That will be on September 1st. So if I don't get around to updating and putting new calendars up right away (like this month--I was busy *and* lazy), that's why.

Monday, August 22, 2005, 12:39am: I'm kinda behind on getting gifts up on my pages and all. I have gotten many pretty things from Grammy J. There was also the month-long Garden of Friendship 5th Birthday celebration (July) [EDIT Oct. 1st: I added the GOF 5th B.D. Bash pages today], which I totally spaced, although I got emails and also presents sent to the committee I am on. I will get those up on my site eventually. I also just got a lovely gift from Sweet Violet, one of the GOF's Blossoms. And a get-well-ahead-of-time gift from the head of the GOF, Deelight. All these things I want to try to get up soon.

But I have other things I need to get done around home to prepare for my surgery. So please bear with me. I will probably have Cat'r post how I am doing in my LiveJournal [EDIT: now CountryMouse's Refuge], like he did the other times I had surgery. So check there Sept. 1st and beyond.

Anyway, thank you, everyone, for the lovely gifts and such! I truly appreciate your kindness!

Saturday, September 24, 2005, 10:27pm: Well, if you have been checking my LiveJournal [EDIT: now CountryMouse's Refuge], you will know that I did NOT have to have surgery after all! I was relieved at first, but now I am looking over my shoulder, so to speak. However, here is more about it. As I said there, thank you ALL for your prayers and good wishes.

Sorry for not posting more or sooner. Things have been busy, one way and another. I can't promise to do better, as my offline life has gotten busier lately. I will update when I can. :-)

Friday, September 30, 2005, 3:20am: Well I sent in my letter of resignation to Heaven's Angels a few days ago, so tonight I finally got around to taking down that section of my site, plus fixing links that went there. I hope I've found everything!

As I said above, I spend a lot less time online now than I did last year/early this year and years past. I am actually developing a real offline social life. :-P  I *am* staying in the Garden of Friendship, though, as that was the first group I was ever in.

Okay, time to upload, then time to SLEEP!
