Ranko: Abandoned No More

Review

This is a story that is really cute and nice as long as you don't demand it adhere to standards of logic or possibility. The comedic parts are also good, especially where each of the girls manages to create her double without anyone else knowing about it at the time.

The sex scenes are quite erotic, also. This is a pretty enjoyable hentai-type story.

Synopsis

The story opens with Genma, Nodoka and Ranma on some volcanic rock island (recommended by Happosai) talking to three females, one Korean, one Japanese and one Chinese. They are the three guardians of the island.

Before Genma and Nodoka can find out that these three are guardians, Ranma-chan (who went to the bathhouse) comes in covered with mud and bleeding from some small cuts. It turns out that Ranma fell into another cursed spring, this one the Mud Spring of Abandoned Daughters.

They tell Ranma that, because she fell into a spring, her DNA will be used by the spring to make a physical duplicate of her which will then be inhabited by one of the souls of the daughters who were killed on the island.

It turns out Happosai set this up so he could have his own Ranma-chan love slave. Things don't work out that way for him, though. At first the duplicate is mentally a duplicate of Ranma-chan, but the guardians cause her to remember who she really is.

Genma and Nodoka agree to accept the girl as their daughter and name her Ranko. Ranko moves in with Nodoka and Genma.

The major problem is that Ranko has two personalities; one being a sort of ultra-feminine Ranma-chan and the other a girl desperately afraid of rejection and loneliness.

Ranko also wants everyone to get along; she wants a happy family. She is also very protective of Ranma; when Shampoo bothers him she hits Shampoo extremely hard.

Ranko and Shampoo get into another fight and Shampoo is getting the worst of it by far. Moose intervenes and tells her Ranko is the spirit of an abandoned girl and the Amazons had sworn to protect the spirits. Shampoo doesn't want to, but she agrees to stop pursuing Ranma to please the spirit in Ranko.

Ranko and Shampoo make up.

Kodachi still wants to fight for Ranma, although Ukyou accepts that Ranma is in love with Akane.

Ranma tells Ranko that he and Akane are going back to China. They think Ranma will be able to rid himself of his curse.

Kodachi later goes to the Tendous and confronts Ranko. Ranko finally convinces her that she and Ranma are not one and the same. They form a friendshp, but then Shampoo and Ukyou come in, both totally drunk. Kodachi puts them to sleep with one of her powdered roses.

Later that night Kodachi and Ranko are sleeping together. Ranko has a lot of erotic dreams and wakes up, awakening Kodachi in the process. Kodachi tells her that deep-down, Ranko has Ranma's attraction to females and that is why the erotic dreams all involved Ranko making love to Shampoo, Akane, Uykyo and Kodachi. Ranko understands and she and Kodachi have sex.

The next day Kodachi talks with Shampoo and Ukyou and they realize that, if Ranko would want to have sex with them, it would not be a good idea to refuse her, since this would cause the girl's spirit to feel unwanted and that could have very bad results.

They decide to arrange a date between Ranko and Kuno so Ranko could find out if she was lesbian or bi-sexual.

Ranko shows up at the Kunos and convinces Kuno that she is Ranma's younger sister and that she is a lesbian. Kuno finally understands that he will never win her love. (Here is one problem in the story: We go from the girls trying to arrange a date between Ranko and Kuno to Ranko not dating Kuno and admitting she is a lesbian. So the "date with Kuno" idea seems to have vanished somewhere.)

Ranko ends up having sex with Kodachi, Shampoo and Ukyou all at the same time. (This isn't as illogical as it seems; the girls all wanted Ranma and Ranma's female half was well known to them. So, by having sex with Ranko, they were, albeit indirectly, having sex with Ranma.

Akane calls and tells them that Ranma cannot get his cursed removed. Later, Kodachi, Shampoo and Ukyou tell Ranko that they enjoyed having sex with her, but that they are mainly interested in boys and don't really want to have sex with her again.

They realize that Ranko needs her own lover, not one of them. Each girl, independently, realizes that returning to the place where Ranko was formed could be the solution. Each can make a copy of herself who could then become Ranko's companion. None of the girls tell any of the others what they plan to do.

Akane, Kodachi, Shampoo and Ukyou all come to the spring at different times and each one ends up performing the ritual to form a new girl. The guardians of the spring are later talking and end up realizing just what has happened.

Akane blindfolds Ranko back at the Tendo home and leaves. Akane's double comes in and has sex with Ranko who fnally sees just who the girl is. Shampoo's double is next. Ukyou's double is the final one to join them. The souls of the girl's in the bodies of the doubles know each other and joined with the physical bodies being duplicated.

Finally, Kodachi's double arrives and joins the other girls.
