Building Bridges, part 3

Review

Again, another excellent story in which we see that Ranma-chan is slowly, bit by bit, coming to terms with her being a female and with her feelings for Kentaro, a man.

Synopsis

Ranma-chan is training Kentaro in her school of martial arts. It's also the day they are supposed to go out on their date.

Kentaro shows up at her room later and Ranma-chan comes out, "dressed to kill" as the saying goes. Ranma-chan admits that she needs to get on with her life as a girl and tonight is her first, halting, step in that direction.

At the movies Kentaro puts his arm around her but that doesn't work out really well.

At the restaurant Ranma-chan asks Kentaro why he likes her and it's interesting to note that she appears slightly jealous of other girls that Kentaro has dated and one girl that he kissed. The rest of their discussion also is somewhat unsettling in the way that Ranma-chan still refuses to accept that she is a girl and it is normal for a girl to have feelings for a guy that has strong feelings for her.

After exams are over they go out to celebrate and go back to Kentaro's room, quite drunk. They end up starting to have a serious sexual encounter when Ranma-chan realizes what is happening and throws him off her. She is extremely angry with him for what he was doing, but is even angrier with herself for enjoying what they were doing.

They end up talking about it, though, and she is no longer furious with him or with herself.
