What Price Love?

The story starts with the assumption (as in many other fanfiction pieces) that Akane is a lesbian. Ranma-kun, through his love for her, agrees to become female and stay that way (as much as possible, anyhow.)

It's done rather nicely, actually. The first chapter is definitely hentai, but chapters 2 and 3 are well done. I like the way Nabiki deals with Genma, and in the third chapter how open Nodoka is when told about Ranma-chan's curse.

My only criticism, as with various other fanfic pieces, is that it ends abruptly. The way chapters 2 and 3 go the story almost cries out to be continued. It has a lot of potential.

Synopsis

Chapter 1

The story starts with Akane and Ranma home alone. She tells him that she is a lesbian. She issues a challenge to him; she will perform foreplay and oral sex on him, both in his male form and in his female form. If he likes it more as a man she will give up her hold on him; if she likes it more as a woman, she will give up her manhood.

It turns out that Ranma-chan has the greatest pleasure.

Ranma learns how to stop from changing back into male form when in hot water.

(It's important to understand that Ranma has agreed to do all of this because he finally has admitted his love for Akane to her, and also that love is very, very strong so Ranma is willing to make virtually any sacrifice for her.)

Akane and Ranma-chan agree that they will tell everyone else about Ranma's decision and the two of them being lesbian lovers.

Chapter 2

At breakfast Akane and Ranma-chan tell everyone about what has happened and, as expected, Genma doesn't take it well. Ranma-chan becomes furious with him then breaks down in tears.

Ranma-chan looks in a mirror and notes that, for once, her face appears calm and relaxed (this is something common to many fanfictions; when Ranma becomes female permanently there is a major change not just in thinking but in a loss of the stress/arrogance that he always seems to have in his male form.)

Nabiki is furious with Genma also, considering Ranma-chan now part of the family and family comes first and foremost in her mind. She bans Genma from the house and from Kasumi's cooking and from hot water (since he's currently in his panda form this will prevent him from changing back during the hot weather outside).

But not from Akane's cooking.

Genma will be allowed inside, hot water and Kasumi's food if and when he apologies to Ranma-chan for things he said earlier that hurt her.

Ranma-chan has an nice private talk with Nabiki.

Chapter 3

Ranma-chan tries to help Akane learn about how to change the way she tries to cook things.

Ryouga shows up as P-chan and sees Akane and Ranma-chan naked and making love. He gets a severe nose bleed; Akane takes him for a bath, puts him in hot water and ends up with a wet and a soon flying-through-the-sky Ryouga.

Akane and Ranma-chan go to talk to Nodoka and tell her everything.
