Serendipity

This is a wonderful story in which Ranma-chan finds out that she is pregnant. It shows very well the mental difficulties that she has in dealing with the fact that she is pregnant. She at first is unsure of whether or not she will have an abortion but an incident in the hospital cafeteria shows that she has already mentally made the decision to keep the baby.

There is a hilarious scene in which Ranma-chan is sick in the bathroom and Kasumi enters. Kasumi listens to Ranma-chan's symptoms and then tries to convince her that she is pregnant but Ranma-chan just isn't listening to her words.

Then there is a very beautiful scene in which Ranma-chan and Akane have a talk and Akane explains to her just how special it is that a woman can create life and give birth. Ranma-chan is thinking of the baby as a parasite, but then thinks of it as "her" parasite.

There is a very moving scene in which Kentaro and Ranma-chan go to tell Nodoka that they are expecting a baby. Nodoka tells Ranma-chan that she is no longer her son. She really let's Genma have it for causing Ranma to be cursed and then she leaves, Ranma-chan totally devastated by her words.

She comes back soon, though, and points her katana at Kentaro, telling him she expects him to marry Ranma-chan and he says he always intended to. She then accepts Ranma-chan as her daughter and everything turns out ok.
