CountryMouse's Diary

Part 78

Rainbow swirly bar

Tuesday, October 2, 2007, 10:39am: It's October ! But, well, wouldn't you  know it, we're actually going to The Gospel of Inclusionhave 90*F. temperatures later this week. AARRGGHH! Will summer never lose (or maybe loose is better?) its grip on us???

I finished Rainbows End a couple weeks ago--did I read something else after that? I forget. But now I am reading two books: A Good Yarn by Debbie Macomber and The Gospel of Inclusion by Bishop Carlton Pearson (click on the pic at left to see it larger). I caught part of a documentary about him on MSN late one night--it was a rerun from earlier. It was called "To Hell and Back", about his revelation that there is no hell and all he suffered for preaching this new/old doctrine. I was fascinated by the man and did a search online for anything he might've written or anything else about him. Bunnicula got me the book; and here is his website.

8:18pm: Photos of new (and old) knitting and crochet projects. Go here for knitted muffatees; go here for a crocheted keyhole scarf. An older crochet project that I forgot to photograph until now is here (Stormy Sea crocheted hat).

10:50pm: Oops! Forgot one other completed project: Cat'r's Farrow Rib Muffler.

Sunday, October 7, 2007, 11:09pm: Don't get me started on this weather!

Here are pics of the Obnoxiously Simple Fingerless Gloves I knitted. For some reason my gauge kept being off. ::sigh:: I eventually got them right.

Tuesday, October 9, 2007, 4:04pm: Yes, I am on a wrist warmers/fingerless gloves/muffatees kick. Here is another set. They are in Breast Cancer Awareness pink(s).

Monday, October 15, 2007, 11:33am: Halfway through the knitted-in-the-round Embers wrist warmers! Here is an update! No, I'm not that slow--I've completed another set of knitted wrist warmers and a set of crocheted ones while still working on this, a scarf, and I forget-what-all-else. ::grin::
